Project Manager – DHS/CBP (Secret Clearance, Agile/SAFe)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale federal programs supporting the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The role requires an active or eligible Secret Clearance and deep expertise in Agile and SAFe methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex IT and business transformation projects for DHS/CBP.
• Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, budgets, and staffing models.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams across large enterprise and federal environments.
• Engage senior leadership and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure compliance, quality management, metrics tracking, and continuous operational improvement.

Required profile

• 10+ years managing complex IT and business transformation projects.
• Proven experience with DHS and U.S. Customs and Border Protection initiatives.
• Active or eligible Secret Security Clearance.
• Strong knowledge of PMBOK process groups and knowledge areas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• PMP certification highly preferred.
