Project Manager (Contract)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Contract Project Manager to lead high‑stakes aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) programs for its Columbus, MS facility. You will coordinate engineering, operations and customer teams to deliver repair campaigns on schedule, within budget and to the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead aircraft maintenance and repair programs, aligning business objectives with engineering, procurement and site resources, and monitoring master plans to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop business capture plans and offers in collaboration with sales, track financial performance, and maintain reliable aircraft metrics for forecasting and customer satisfaction.
• Manage subcontractor interactions, coordinate schedules and quality, approve proposals and invoices, and conduct performance reviews to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Program Management or equivalent, with at least four years of project‑management experience in a production or technical environment.
• Proven financial budgeting experience, strong crisis‑management and planning abilities, and the capacity to interpret technical data packages.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite and working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
