Project Manager – Consumer Product NPI

About the role

The Project Manager will lead a portfolio of consumer product New Product Introduction (NPI) projects at 3M, ensuring that timelines, milestones, risks and deliverables are clearly tracked and communicated across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate view of portfolio projects, including schedules, owners, dependencies, risks and key deliverables.
• Coordinate across project teams, stakeholders and vendors to monitor progress, identify gaps and resolve issues.
• Lead vendor engagement processes, handling intake, communication, documentation, status tracking and escalations.
• Support portfolio governance by preparing status updates, dashboards, meeting materials and action logs.
• Drive consistency and continuous improvement in project tracking, reporting and documentation to enhance transparency and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (verified prior to start).
• Minimum six years of project management experience in private, public, government or military environments.
• Experience with new product development and NPI processes, including gate reviews.
• Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and clarify risks and opportunities.
