Project Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

The Project Manager will lead CVG’s commercial construction projects from bid to close‑out, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget targets are met while maintaining strong client relationships. This full‑time, on‑site position reports directly to the Vice President and works closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare bids, budgets, and RFP responses; lead pricing, value‑engineering, and site selection efforts.
• Develop site logistics plans and detailed schedules in collaboration with superintendents and the project team.
• Serve as primary client, subcontractor, and partner contact; conduct job walks, kick‑off meetings, and weekly coordination meetings.
• Manage permits, subcontract negotiations, procurement, cost control, change orders, and project accounting throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee submittals, shop drawings, punch lists, final releases, and close‑out documentation to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and supervise Assistant Project Managers, engineers, coordinators, and interns, providing performance feedback and guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of commercial construction project management experience, including tenant improvements, ground‑up builds, and renovations up to $10 M.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification required; LEED accreditation encouraged.
