Project Engineer II – Water/Wastewater

About the role

CPH, a top‑500 design firm, is seeking a Project Engineer II to support water, wastewater and stormwater projects in Orange Park, Florida. The role involves preparing design documents, performing hydraulic modeling, and coordinating with clients and agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design plans, specifications, and reports for transmission, distribution, collection, treatment, storage, and utility master planning projects.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling for stormwater, advanced treatment, storage design, and water/sewer pumping systems.
• Review and modify design plans, coordinate with drafting staff, and ensure compliance with industry and municipal standards.
• Perform engineering calculations, develop drawings, visual aids, and support field research and data analysis.
• Manage time and workload to stay on schedule and within budget, with limited travel for site investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• EIT certification; PE preferred.
• Detail‑oriented with strong technical and organizational abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WaterCAD and ICPR modeling software.
• Experience in hydraulic modeling and engineering calculations.
• Competence in spreadsheets and word‑processing applications.
