Production Technician – Sanitation (2nd Shift)

About the role

Nestlé USA is hiring a Production Technician (sanitation crew) for the 2nd shift. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and assembling equipment in a sanitary fashion, maintaining clean conditions on the production floor, and supporting break and lunch rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and assemble equipment during washdowns and panwash within established time frames.
• Maintain sanitary conditions by removing trash, food waste, and cardboard.
• Push dumpsters up to 1500 lb and lift refuse barrels up to 300 lb as required.
• Operate low‑pressure hot‑water hoses, hand tools, valves, and switches.
• Follow EPSU training guide, safety rules, GMP and USDA policies, and detect warning signals.

Required profile

• Willingness to work overtime and follow scheduled shift times.
• High school diploma/GED preferred; 90 days food‑manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions in English.
• Capability to work in wet, uneven, and temperature‑varying environments.

Required skills

• Low‑pressure hot‑water hose operation.
• Hand‑tool and valve usage.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
