About the role

Join BASF as a Production Technician Intern at the Freeport, TX site. This hands‑on internship provides valuable experience in a chemical production environment, allowing you to apply your Process Technology education while working on shift schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with operator activities and follow standard production procedures.
• Support shift operations under the guidance of experienced Production Technicians.
• Apply mechanical and technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
• Participate in safety and quality checks as part of the production team.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Process Technology, final‑semester PTEC student, or honorably discharged veteran with relevant mechanical/technical training.
• Academic achievement preferred (minimum GPA 3.0) or a professor’s recommendation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass BASF pre‑employment assessment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and a solid work ethic.
