Production Operative – Day Shift (6am‑6pm)

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join our Boston site on a day‑shift schedule (6 am‑6 pm). This entry‑level position involves supporting the daily flow of ready‑to‑eat salads, vegetables and snack production, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to simple production plans.
• Move products between production stages to keep the line running smoothly.
• Carry out manual handling tasks and support production requirements.
• Complete basic production, safety and hygiene paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic work environment.
• Follow health, safety and food‑safety procedures at all times.
• Assist the team in meeting daily production targets.
• Undertake any other reasonable tasks directed by the line manager.

Required profile

• Good level of education with verbal, written and numerical ability.
• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably in salads or ready‑meal production.
• Flexibility to work different shifts or departments as business needs change.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
