Production Lead

About the role

The Production Lead works closely with the Worship Pastor to provide vision, leadership, and oversight of all production and technical elements during services and events. This role ensures that worship experiences are distraction‑free and spiritually engaging, while also fostering a healthy team culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Production Team, including staff, contractors, key leaders, and volunteers.
• Create and manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and tiered training programs.
• Maintain a spiritually focused, caring team culture.
• Stay current with production trends, techniques, and technology.
• Manage a large budget, track spending, and forecast hardware updates.
• Oversee audio, video, lighting, broadcast, stage management, set design, and related technology for worship services.
• Schedule volunteers and coordinate production needs for services and events.
• Partner with the Worship Pastor and speaking pastor to design visuals, lyric videos, and stage elements that enhance the gospel message.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience leading staff and live production teams in a church environment.
• Strong expertise in modern worship sound using digital audio consoles, Waves, Dante, DAW, and live broadcast mixing.
• High proficiency with ProPresenter, lighting consoles, video switchers (Black Magic/Ross), and camera equipment.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and deadlines using project‑management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including irregular hours during peak seasons.
