Product Manager – Business Technology

About the role

McKinstry’s Business Technology team is looking for a Product Manager to partner with the Energy & Technical Services lines. You will own the product backlog across a broad portfolio, manage ServiceNow ticket queues, coordinate responses, and drive integrations while building trusted relationships with business leaders and operational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain product strategy, roadmaps, and business cases for large‑scale initiatives.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including enhancements, upgrades, maintenance and end‑of‑life planning.
• Produce documentation such as Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, training materials, wireframes and prototypes.
• Facilitate design sessions, product introduction meetings, design reviews and UAT activities.
• Lead training sessions and ensure successful adoption across user and line‑of‑business teams.
• Collaborate with technology partners to deliver user stories, functional specifications and testing.

Required profile

• Experience working with or alongside businesses delivering energy services, building performance, facilities management, or technical construction and engineering is a plus.
• Comfortable running Agile ceremonies and managing mid‑sized projects.
• Strong ability to align cross‑functional priorities between technology and business teams.
• Ready for a high‑visibility role with meaningful product ownership.
