Product Manager – Autonomous Maritime Solutions

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of autonomous maritime products. Based in Austin, you will work at the intersection of software, hardware, and maritime operations to create cutting‑edge solutions for defense and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a product strategy aligned with Saronic’s vision and market requirements.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through launch to scaled production, ensuring compliance with security, reliability, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a detailed product roadmap, balancing market demand, R&D objectives, and programmatic obligations.
• Engage with Department of War (DoW) and commercial maritime stakeholders to gather requirements and align development with strategic goals.
• Build strong customer relationships, collect feedback, and act as the primary point of contact for inquiries.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including Engineering, Production, Growth, and Programs—to deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule and within budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Proven judgment in differentiating strong products from weak ones.
• Diplomatic disposition with a track record of effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience in product management, preferably within defense or maritime industries focused on autonomous systems.
