Product Line Management I – New College Graduate

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a recent Bachelor’s graduate to join its Product Line Management team in Santa Clara. You will support field service organizations, drive cost‑reduction initiatives, and help implement product and component roadmaps for semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Contract Service Agreements (CSA) and coordinate with Field Service Organization to address KPI gaps and unscheduled downtime.
• Implement component roadmaps, including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors, and cost‑reduction strategies.
• Monitor Install & Warranty (I&W) performance, drive improvement projects, and support field escalation processes.
• Develop and deliver field training and certification programs on new platforms and complex upgrades.
• Assist with product change management, engineering change orders, and part change notifications.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a technical discipline.
• General business understanding gained through education or past experience.
• Ability to solve standard problems using existing procedures and make sound judgments.

• Salary range $80,000 – $110,000 per year.
