Product Engineer

About the role

We are an applied AI lab building end‑to‑end software agents, creator of Devin – the first AI software engineer. As a Product Engineer you will own the full developer experience across our IDE, web and CLI products, turning user feedback into polished, high‑performance tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and ship features from the first line of code to user rollout, directly engaging with developers for feedback.
• Craft fast, focused, and beautiful interfaces for IDE, web, and CLI surfaces.
• Define interaction patterns for AI‑assisted developer workflows and establish UX conventions.
• Build and maintain the core agent infrastructure, including the agent loop, tool use, and reliability harness.
• Tackle hard engineering challenges that impact the overall developer experience.
• Move quickly across multiple product surfaces while maintaining a high quality bar.

Required profile

• Strong full‑stack engineering depth with a natural instinct for product quality.
• Deep empathy for developer workflows and the ability to translate pain points into delightful tooling.
• Proactive mindset – able to identify gaps and close them without waiting for a product manager.
