Product Designer (UI/UX)

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Product Designer (UI/UX) to shape user‑centered experiences for autonomous surface vessels and related platforms. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and DoD stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, visually compelling designs.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to product and design strategy and decision‑making.
• Own the full design lifecycle: discovery, ideation, prototyping, testing, and implementation.
• Use storytelling to align stakeholders and drive design consensus.
• Shape end‑to‑end operator workflows and elevate the overall platform experience.
• Balance short‑term tactical bets with long‑term strategic goals.
• Help define the ways of working for a centralized product design function.

Required profile

• 6+ years of industry experience in product, visual, or interaction design.
• High attention to detail and mastery of visual & interaction design craft.
• Online portfolio showcasing multimodal experiences.
• Ability to clearly articulate design rationale, process, and impact.
• No prior defense experience required.
