Process Engineer – Manufacturing Improvement

About the role

3M is seeking a Process Engineer to join its Cumberland, WI site. You will work with global teams to drive safety, quality, service and cost improvements across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety, quality, service and cost improvement initiatives.
• Participate in daily tier processes, EHS activities, MOC change management, OEE analysis and performance gap resolution.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects across the value stream using project‑management tools.
• Apply statistical analysis and PPU to troubleshoot defects, perform root‑cause analysis and solve problems.
• Manage strategic source‑of‑supply projects and drive capital investment, new product introductions and new technologies.
• Provide daily engineering support, including occasional night/weekend availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (verified before start).
• At least two years of process‑engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Experience leading and coaching cross‑functional teams.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
