Process Engineer (Doctorate) – New College Grad – Fall 2026

About the role

As a Process Engineer you will design and optimise manufacturing processes for advanced display and semiconductor technologies. You will work with cutting‑edge equipment, collect and analyse data, and collaborate with global R&D teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Collect data, analyse results and compile reports on basic process engineering experiments.
• Perform hardware characterisation on basic systems.
• Troubleshoot problems, conduct root‑cause analysis and resolve basic process engineering issues.
• Measure film properties and organise data/reports for review.
• Generate internal documentation, presentations and technical reports.
• Communicate with customers to resolve basic process engineering concerns under direct supervision.
• Work with vendors and suppliers under direct supervision.
• Become familiar with implementing new technology, products and analytical instrumentation.

Required profile

• Doctorate degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Experience with semiconductor processes such as CVD, ALD, PVD, etch or epitaxy and material‑characterisation techniques (FTIR, XPS, XRD, etc.).
• Availability to begin full‑time employment between October and December 2026.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Prior experience in a semiconductor fab or equipment environment is preferred.

• Salary range: $124,000 – $171,000 per year.
