Procedure Nurse – District Office, Health Services Department

About the role

The Manteca Unified School District Health Services Department is seeking a Procedure Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to students within the district office. This full‑time position works 7.75 hours per day, Monday through Friday, and includes comprehensive benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clean and sterile catheterizations and maintain catheter care.
• Conduct tracheostomy suctioning and manage tube feedings.
• Provide ostomy care, postural drainage, and percussion therapy.
• Collaborate with school staff to support students with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with district policies.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited RN or Vocational Nurse program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Valid California RN or Vocational Nurse license.
• Minimum one year experience with the listed specialized procedures.
• Desirable experience working with children with disabilities in an educational setting.
