Private Duty Nurse – Home Health

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) to provide one‑to‑one home health care for pediatric patients aged 0‑20 in the Greater Houston area. This position involves delivering safe, competent nursing care directly in patients' homes while supporting families with education and training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to pediatric patients, monitoring vital signs and ensuring adherence to the care plan.
• Communicate medication clarifications, condition changes, and upcoming medical appointments to the office.
• Educate families on medical procedures, home care techniques, and ongoing health management.
• Document all care activities using electronic medical records (EMR) with no paper notes.

Required profile

• Active LVN/LPN/RN license in Texas.
• American Red Cross CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 lb and work in a home environment.
