Private Duty Nurse – Home Health

About the role

We are seeking passionate, committed and patient‑focused Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide one‑to‑one private duty care for pediatric patients in the Greater Houston area. This home‑health position involves delivering safe, competent nursing services directly in families’ homes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care for children aged 0‑20 years.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow and update the patient’s plan of care, communicating any medication clarifications, condition changes, or upcoming appointments to the office.
• Educate families on medical care, equipment use, and home health procedures.

Required profile

• Active LVN/LPN/RN license in Texas.
• American Red Cross CPR certification.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lb and work safely in a home environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Vital signs monitoring.
• EMR charting (paperless documentation).
• Enteral feeding administration.
• Tracheostomy care.
• Ventilator management.
