Principal Solutions Engineer – Strategic Accounts

About the role

We’re building something new. As a Principal Solutions Engineer you’ll be an expert in Scribe’s most complex, market‑changing products, bridging the gap between closing the deal and delivering transformational outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical layer of Scribe’s largest strategic deals, partnering with Account Executives from discovery through close, delivering tailored Optimize demos and leading proof‑of‑concept planning.
• Deeply understand prospect business challenges and craft ROI narratives grounded in actual workflow data.
• Act as the technical expert driving validation and security workstreams throughout the deal cycle.
• Build credibility with technical stakeholders, earn champions and remove roadblocks.
• Translate customer feedback into repeatable pre‑sales assets, playbooks and product insights.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Scribe’s platform and serve as a reference point for go‑to‑market teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management or comparable pre‑sales role at a high‑growth SaaS company.
• Proven experience closing complex strategic accounts.
• Strong AI fluency – understanding of large language models, architecture, prompt design and AI output quality.
• Ability to translate business outcomes into technical context for AI/ML engineering teams.
• Expertise explaining workflow AI concepts to both technical and senior non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow and SAP and with Fortune 100 process‑improvement initiatives.
