Principal Contracts Manager (Nashville or Cambridge)

About the role

The Principal Contracts Manager leads complex contract negotiations and ensures that contractual terms align with Philips' business goals, legal standards, and organizational policies. This senior position provides strategic guidance to senior leaders, assesses risk, resolves disputes, and mentors the contracts team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and execution of high‑value, complex GPO and enterprise contracts.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve challenging disputes.
• Partner with sales, operations, legal, and other functions to support RFP/RFI/RFQ processes.
• Improve contract processes and tools, and contribute to policy and strategy development.
• Mentor team members and ensure contractual terms are operationalized across fulfillment and invoicing.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex enterprise commercial contracts in a technology‑focused company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law or equivalent; legal degree preferred.
