Principal Business Analyst, Invest Tech

About the role

The Principal Business Analyst joins Invesco’s Fixed Income Technology team to bridge business needs and technology solutions. Working closely with portfolio managers, traders, quants, compliance, risk, and operations, you will translate complex fixed‑income workflows into clear technical requirements and help shape the firm’s investment technology roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with business partners to identify investment needs, gaps, and opportunities.
• Document and translate requirements into functional specifications for developers and product owners.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert on fixed‑income business processes and systems.
• Collaborate with developers, QA specialists, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
• Support the design of scalable, extensible solutions that improve data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with fixed‑income business workflows and related systems.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to convey complex concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• Track record of delivering technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
