Primary Care Physician (Family, Internal, Med/Peds)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Primary Care physicians in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds. Candidates with experience or fresh from residency are welcome. Positions are available across rural, urban and suburban settings throughout Southeast Louisiana, including New Orleans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, managing chronic conditions and preventive health.
• Leverage Ochsner’s refill center, ambient listening, LPN care coordinators, on‑call support, remote messaging nurses, and outpatient care managers to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med/Peds.
• Willingness to practice in diverse settings (rural, urban, suburban) within Southeast Louisiana.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record platform.
• Experience using digital medicine tools for chronic disease management.
