Prep Cook - The Pavilion at Star Lake

About the role

The Prep Cook prepares and cooks food items in a fast-casual space at The Pavilion at Star Lake, with the aim of ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing food revenues. The role sits within Legends Hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
• Implement and uphold a guest service philosophy and regularly meet with supervision to review assignments, business levels and changes
• Serve only the highest-quality product and keep equipment in good working order and clean
• Follow County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards, and practice safe work habits
• Rotate to other service locations when needed and perform other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Ideal candidate is ServSafe certified and at least 18 years old
• Culinary degree or certified apprenticeship, with 2-3 years of cooking experience in contract foodservice, preferably in premium services, catering and concessions at a sports and/or entertainment venue
• Flexible to work extended hours, including late nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
