Premium Supervisor - Xfinity Center

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Premium Supervisor for its VIP stand at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield. The supervisor oversees stand workers, takes part in set-up and closing, keeps the area clean and stocked, manages staff and ensures compliance with food safety and alcohol policies. The pay rate is $18-$22 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of stand workers in the VIP area
• Oversee and/or take part in stand set-up and closing, including counting inventory, preparation and cleaning
• Keep workstations clean and well stocked, and order replacement stock from runners
• Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Ensure staff follow alcohol policies and that food preparation meets Legends and the board of health guidelines
• Be able to fill any position in the location if needed, and work with other stand personnel at closing to count ending inventory, clean equipment and organize stock
• Work with the customer service department to improve service, and handle assigned schedules, printing and posting them
• Do inventory at assigned locations and input daily event sheets and reports
• Provide personal service to guests, maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with service, inventory and cash control procedures
• Follow and encourage safety policies, report safety incidents through the company's risk management system, and complete safety training

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant or catering location
• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to walk long distances, stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds and push carts
• State and local health requirements for food handlers and alcohol service

Required skills

• Knowledge of the POS system, including voids, credit card issues and closing procedures
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services
• Knowledge of the venue layout and assigned area
• Ability to read and maintain information, perform simple math calculations and speak, read and write English
