Premium Supervisor - VIP Stand

About the role

Legends Global is hiring a Premium Supervisor for its VIP stand at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park. The supervisor oversees the stand workers, takes part in set-up and closing, keeps the station clean and stocked, and ensures food and beverage service meets the guidelines of the venue and the board of health. The pay is $21.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of stand workers in the VIP area
• Oversee and/or take part in stand set-up and closing, including counting inventory, preparation and cleaning
• Keep work stations clean and well stocked, and order replacement stock from runners as needed
• Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Ensure staff follow alcohol policies and that food preparation meets venue and health board guidelines
• Be able to fill any position in the location if needed, and work with other stand personnel at closing to count ending inventory, clean equipment and organise stock
• Work with the customer service department to improve service, and help guests with personal attention
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with service, inventory and cash control procedures
• Follow safety policies, report unsafe conditions and safety incidents through the company's risk management system, and complete safety training

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant or catering location
• High school diploma; some college preferred
• Ability to read and write English, and to perform simple math calculations
• Flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to walk long distances, stand for long periods, and lift up to 30 pounds
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcohol service

Required skills

• Knowledge of the POS system, including voids, credit card issues and closing procedures
• Inputting daily event sheets and reports
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage menu, specials and services
• Knowledge of the venue layout and assigned area
