Practical Nursing Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks a full‑time Practical Nursing Instructor to join the Marietta and Jasper campuses. This twelve‑month faculty position combines classroom teaching with clinical and laboratory instruction, shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and hands‑on clinical instruction for LPN and RN programs.
• Evaluate student performance and provide academic advisement.
• Participate in curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Serve on department and college committees as assigned by the Dean of Nursing.
• Maintain compliance with college policies and state licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current Georgia RN license in good standing.
• At least three years of recent nursing experience, including Medical‑Surgical nursing.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience within the past five years.
• Basic computer proficiency.
