Practical Nursing Clinical Adjunct Instructor

About the role

The Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a Practical Nursing Adjunct Instructor to teach clinical subjects on the Floyd County Campus and other locations as needed. This part‑time, on‑site position involves direct student interaction in classroom and clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical instruction and maintain visibility to students in clinical environments.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop learning experiences aligned with program outcomes.
• Participate in departmental committees and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Current RN license in Georgia with minimum 3 years of experience.
• In good standing as a registered professional nurse.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet/database applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication for presenting to small and large groups.
• Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care programs.
