Power BI AWS Architect

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Power BI AWS Architect to join its Financial Services unit. The role will be based in Raleigh, NC and will focus on designing and delivering data‑visualisation solutions on Power BI while leveraging AWS cloud services for scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements related to performance, security and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, conduct comparative analysis and propose optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concept implementations of proposed solutions.
• Support knowledge transfer, ensure quality standards and contribute to build and deployment automation strategies.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented architectures and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and documentation for stakeholder review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in gathering and analysing business and technical requirements.
• Strong background in solution and enterprise architecture design.
• Ability to assess and compare emerging technologies against client needs.
• Experience with integration strategy development and proof‑of‑concept validation.
• Familiarity with build, deployment and automation processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex technical issues.
• Experience monitoring system performance and risk assessment.

Required skills

• Power BI (MSBI) for data visualisation.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS Managed Services.
• SQL and database tuning.
• Tableau for additional visualisation capabilities.
