Post‑Production Assistant

About the role

ZEALOT, an award‑winning creative advertising agency, is seeking a Post‑Production Assistant to support its finishing department. Working closely with the Head of Finishing, you will help ensure that graphics, audio, and video deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries promptly, confirming progress and sharing ETAs.
• Translate client specifications into clear briefs for graphics designers, finishers, and assistant editors.
• Coordinate finishing needs across online editors, assistant editors, and graphics teams.
• QC graphic renders for accuracy, spelling, specs, and creative intent.
• QC picture and audio pre‑ps for out‑of‑house finishing and final exports for delivery.
• Organize and upload deliverables to web portals such as Box, Aspera, or Signiant.
• Maintain archive organization for finished projects.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in a production or post‑production environment.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to commute three days per week to the LA office and manage time‑zone transitions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, occasional weekends, or holidays as needed.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere (essential).
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects (beneficial).
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve (beneficial).
