About the role

The Post-Secondary Trainer will support the Options Institute by delivering high‑quality professional development workshops and providing college‑access counseling to a small caseload of students. This full‑time position combines facilitation, evaluation, and project management to ensure training programs are effective and aligned with organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate professional development workshops for school and community professionals.
• Manage training logistics, data collection, and reporting.
• Maintain up‑to‑date curricula, training materials, and resources.
• Counsel a small group of students on college enrollment and persistence.
• Evaluate training outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate project timelines and deliverables.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in training, project management, or student counseling.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with community partners.

• Competitive salary range of $66,300 – $70,000 per year.
