Platform Engineer – Design & Build Scalable Orchestration Platform

About the role

At Sea12 Technologies we work with large public and private companies, tackling their toughest challenges with technology. As a Platform Engineer you will join a team that designs, builds and optimises an orchestration platform enabling enterprises to create, manage and execute complex workflows through visual interfaces and AI automation.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop and refine Sea12’s process orchestration platform for users to design, optimise and execute high‑stakes business processes.
• Design and build secure, high‑performance backend services using Go, Gin, PostgreSQL and Redis, including job queues, real‑time processing and distributed workflow execution across cloud environments.
• Architect responsive web applications with Next.js and TypeScript.
• Ensure high‑availability, security and observability of workflow execution engines, applying best practices for distributed computing, scalable service orchestration and real‑time data processing.
• Partner with other full‑stack and forward‑deployed engineers.

Required profile

• Strong ability in full‑stack development.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed systems, databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) and cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker), CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong interest in AI‑native development and workflow orchestration, including LLM integration and vector databases.
• Experience with real‑time systems, job queues and event‑driven architectures.
• Knowledge of workflow engines, process automation and distributed computing patterns.
• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, state management and drag‑and‑drop interfaces.
• Experience with security, authentication and large‑scale observability (a plus).
