Platform Admin – Infrastructure Consultant (Irving, TX)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Platform Admin to join its Financial Services unit in Irving, Texas. The role focuses on managing and optimizing client IT infrastructure, supporting digital transformation initiatives across banking, wealth management, and insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, conduct root‑cause analyses and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence on infrastructure maturity.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components and develop technical documentation.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, perform post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and oversee maintenance, emergency fixes and technology upgrades to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning and optimize system behavior.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.
• Identify automation opportunities, analyze existing processes and propose efficiency enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in infrastructure consulting or similar IT operations roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on incident resolution.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
