About the role

This role supports new product development by ensuring engineering drawing requirements are clear and communicated effectively to suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Work with New Product Development teams to define and communicate engineering drawing requirements to suppliers.
• Collaborate with New Product Introduction teams to involve suppliers early in specification development for design‑for‑manufacturability.
• Use project management and quality tools to evaluate alternate manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality, and reliability improvements.
• Participate continuously in supplier selection to build a competitive supply base.
• Assist in supplier technical audits, evaluate performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support quality problem resolution, incident management, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Assess supplier production readiness for serial production of new and transferred modules.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge in coating and supplier engineering with a broadening of capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and ability to apply that knowledge to project work.
• Provides informal guidance to newer team members and solves straightforward technical problems using judgment and experience.
