Plant Engineering Coordinator

About the role

Join 3M as a Plant Engineering Coordinator and work alongside innovative colleagues worldwide. You will independently manage site‑specific engineering projects, guide teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that impact operational and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate site‑specific engineering projects and programs.
• Lead or guide employees during projects and train new staff on business performance activities.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, develop and refine Tier Boards, and run tier meetings to drive employee engagement and continuous improvement.
• Handle non‑routine and complex inquiries, applying improvement techniques to solve operational and financial challenges.
• Analyze trends and data to support operational and financial objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma with five years experience) and at least three (or five) years of experience in training development, project coordination or project management.
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel up to 10 % domestic/international and comply with U.S. Export Control regulations.

What we offer

• Annual compensation range of $84,595 – $103,394, including base pay and variable incentive pay.
