Planogram Specialist

About the role

The Planogram Specialist partners with Category Leadership Managers and cross‑functional teams to design, validate and execute merchandising solutions that drive category growth. This role blends analytical insight with practical planogram development to improve shelf performance across retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain multiple versions of planograms, ensuring alignment with retailer strategies, fixture constraints, and merchandising guidelines.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analytics, heat‑mapping, and testing to measure the impact of planogram and assortment changes on sales performance.
• Develop and improve standardized tools, templates, and reporting views to increase efficiency and consistency across divisions.
• Collaborate with Shopper MX, field sales and category teams to share best practices and drive scalable process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 2+ years in space or category management within CPG or food industry.
• Strong project‑management, presentation and communication skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to travel 15–25% for national meetings, customer visits and store audits.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Blue Yonder/JDA Space Management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction and workflow automation.
