Physician – Physical Medicine & Rehab

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join a busy outpatient practice in the Northshore region. The position offers collaboration with the PM&R Back and Spine Clinic and access to a large referral network across primary care and orthopedics.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient PM&R care as the sole physician in the clinic.
• Collaborate with the Back and Spine Clinic and other specialists throughout Ochsner Health.
• Utilize a strong internal referral network to manage patient flow.
• Perform electromyography (EMG) studies as part of diagnostic services.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Sports Medicine fellowship training is preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in performing EMG studies.
• Experience using the Epic electronic medical record platform.
