Physician Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon

About the role

Ochsner Lafayette General is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join a rapidly growing, high‑volume practice. The position offers immediate block time, a strong referral network, and the chance to practice cutting‑edge orthopedics in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide adult reconstruction orthopedic surgery for a thriving patient base.
• Teach and collaborate with residents and multiple APPs for clinical and surgical support.
• Utilize state‑of‑the‑art technology, including three MAKO robotic systems for total joint procedures.
• Maintain a balanced schedule with 2‑3 OR days per week and low call burden.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, team‑oriented environment, whether as an experienced surgeon or a new graduate.

Required skills

• EPIC electronic medical record platform
