Physician - Neuropathologist/Surgical Pathologist (Full‑Time Academic)

About the role

We are seeking a fellowship‑trained Neuropathologist/Surgical Pathologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to join the Department of Pathology at Ochsner LSU Health System and LSU Health Science Center in Shreveport. The role involves maintaining diagnostic excellence, providing consultative services, and contributing to academic productivity through service and teaching responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain excellence and diagnostic accuracy in neuropathology and surgical pathology.
• Provide high‑quality consultative services to clinical colleagues within the institution and elsewhere.
• Participate in service and teaching responsibilities, guiding medical students and residents.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, and Neuropathology.
• Fellowship‑trained in Neuropathology.
• Eligible for visa sponsorship (J‑1 waiver or H‑1B) if required.
