About the role

Ochsner LSU Health System and Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport are seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Endocrinologist for a full‑time academic faculty position. The role involves patient care, teaching, research, and community service within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

Teach medical students, house staff, and fellows as part of faculty duties.
Provide outpatient endocrine clinic care and inpatient consultations across surgical, OB‑GYN, labor and delivery, and psychiatry services.
Engage in clinical or laboratory research projects.
Participate in community outreach and service activities.

Required profile

MD or equivalent terminal degree.
Eligibility for a Louisiana medical license.
Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
