Physician-Community Radiologist Site Lead

About the role

Under the direction of the Associate Medical Director, the Physician‑Community Radiologist Site Lead provides strategic leadership and oversight for designated Ochsner sites. The role collaborates with senior leadership to drive clinical and quality performance, ensuring patient safety, satisfaction and provider engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daytime coverage of outpatient and inpatient radiology examinations across community hospitals, outpatient facilities and urgent care centers.
• Coordinate after‑hours emergency department coverage with Ochsner Emergency Radiologists.
• Manage weekend coverage, approximately one in six weekends, and support interventional radiology services.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and engage physicians to enhance departmental performance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with advanced radiology technologies and imaging modalities.
• Experience with AI and Natural Language Processing applications in radiology.
• Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems for data mining and workflow optimization.
