Physical Security Specialist – SCIF Expert

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Physical Security Specialist to design, implement, and maintain security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). You will ensure compliance with federal standards and support the protection of critical government information.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain physical security measures for SCIFs.
• Certify compliance with federal standards such as ICD 705 for security, access control, and intrusion detection.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify SCIF integrity.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Provide training on SCIF protocols and manage accreditation documentation.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
• Proven experience in physical security, SCIF management, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of federal standards such as ICD 705.
• Exceptional organizational, problem‑solving, and audit implementation skills.
