Physical Security Avigilon Administrator

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a highly skilled Physical Security Technologist with deep expertise in Avigilon solutions to design, deploy, administer and optimize enterprise security systems across its facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Avigilon Control Center video management systems, including camera installation, configuration, analytics and storage optimization.
• Maintain and configure Avigilon Alta Access or Access Control Manager hardware, manage credentials, permissions and integrate with video and alarm systems.
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and support investigations with video retrieval and evidence preservation.
• Collaborate with IT on network design, VLANs, bandwidth planning and cybersecurity requirements for IP‑based security devices.
• Lead security technology deployments, create documentation, coordinate vendors and conduct acceptance testing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, security systems, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security solutions.
• Hands‑on expertise with Avigilon Control Center, Avigilon cameras/NVRs and Avigilon Access Control platforms.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, video surveillance and access control technologies.

Required skills

• Avigilon Control Center (ACC) and Unity Platform.
• Avigilon Alta Cloud Platform and Access Control Manager (ACM) / Alta Access.
• IP networking, VLAN configuration and PoE switching.
• Video analytics, appearance search and facial recognition.
• Windows Server administration and incident investigation.
