Pharmacy Specialist - Migraine Headache

About the role

The Pharmacy Specialist will focus on supporting patients with migraine headache, working within the clinical staff of UAMS. This position is a regular, day‑shift role that does not require sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

• Provide medication counseling and education for patients experiencing migraine headaches.
• Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and verification of migraine‑specific therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation related to migraine medication use.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee, student employee, or graduate assistant.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Availability to work day shifts.
• No sponsorship required.
