About the role

The Pharmacy Specialist – Ambulatory Care provides clinical pharmacy services within the ambulatory care setting at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This position is part of the Clinical Staff – Medical Ancillary Support team and works a day shift schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pharmacy care to ambulatory patients in accordance with UAMS policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy.
• Participate in patient counseling, medication reconciliation, and clinical documentation.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Eligibility to meet UAMS employment standards and background requirements.
