About the role

GoodRx is seeking a Pharmacy Editor to create consumer‑friendly health content that supports informed medication decisions. You will research, write, and edit a variety of drug‑related topics, turning complex clinical data into clear, accessible language for a broad audience.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and manage a network of freelance pharmacist writers and reviewers.
• Write, edit, and review drug and health content for clinical accuracy, clarity, and tone.
• Translate complex clinical information into engaging, lay‑person‑friendly articles.
• Ensure all content follows GoodRx editorial standards, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
• Stay current on clinical guidelines, new drug approvals, and emerging healthcare trends.
• Collaborate with SEO, product, and marketing teams to support content initiatives and serve as a clinical expert for various media formats.
• Update existing content to maintain accuracy, timeliness, and relevance.
• Support business‑priority content requests, including new drug launches.
• Engage with pharmacy students during APPE rotations and provide preceptorship.

Required profile

• PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree (Pharmacist license preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in pharmacy practice, medical writing, editing, or a related field.
• Proven ability to interpret clinical guidelines, prescribing information, and primary literature.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
