Pharmacist I – Prescription Verification

About the role

ReviveRX is seeking a Pharmacist I to lead the prescription verification process. In this position you will manage the complete intake workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a key liaison between providers, patients, and the pharmacy team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process prescriptions from electronic, fax, and phone sources.
• Verify patient details, medication information, and prescriber instructions for accuracy.
• Enter prescription data into the pharmacy management system while meeting legal standards.
• Identify drug interactions, allergies, dosage issues, and other safety concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure safe therapy.
• Provide counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain detailed records of intake activities, patient profiles, and communication logs.
• Conduct routine audits to uphold data integrity and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Stay current on pharmacy regulations and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited program.
• Active pharmacist license in Texas.
• Minimum 3 years of experience focused on prescription intake and verification.
• Highly organized, self‑driven, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and pharmacy compliance.
