About the role
Alcon is seeking a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist to cover the El Paso and Albuquerque territory. You will promote dry‑eye products, build disease awareness, and ensure patients receive appropriate treatment while maintaining compliance with industry guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to grow revenue.
- Build disease awareness with physicians and practitioners.
- Collaborate on prior authorizations, payer restrictions, and reimbursement issues.
- Maintain an active presence in the pharmaceutical community and related organizations.
- Visit all customers in the assigned area according to their potential.
- Manage sales budgets, negotiate contracts, and track account metrics.
- Coordinate trainings, product presentations, and educational programs.
- Prospect new accounts and identify growth opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of proven pharmaceutical or medical sales experience.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to travel within the El Paso/Albuquerque territory.
