Personal Injury Intake Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Intake Specialist to be the first point of contact for potential clients at our rapidly growing plaintiff’s elder abuse and personal injury practice in Los Angeles. You will assess case viability, gather accurate client and incident details, and deliver a compassionate experience that reflects our firm’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls, online form submissions, and referrals within established timeframes using approved intake scripts.
• Conduct preliminary case evaluations for auto accidents, slip‑and‑fall, dog bites, and elder‑abuse incidents, documenting essential facts such as date, location, injuries, treatment, liability, and insurance coverage.
• Enter and maintain accurate intake records in the case management system (Litfy or equivalent) and flag high‑value cases for manager review.
• Build trust with prospective clients through empathetic communication, follow‑up on leads, and provide status updates and next‑step explanations.
• Ensure all call logs, case notes, and follow‑up attempts are properly documented and verified for accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with case managers, investigators, and attorneys to coordinate case intake and escalation when needed.
