Performance Marketing Lead

About the role

Cogent is building the revenue engine for autonomous cyber defence and needs a Performance Marketing Lead to create a digital demand engine that turns the right audiences, messages, and moments into sales‑qualified pipeline. The role sits on the Growth team and works closely with Demand Generation, Content, Product Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, RevOps, and agency partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and optimise paid search, LinkedIn, retargeting, sponsored content and webinar promotion programs to generate qualified demand.
• Own and continuously improve landing pages, webinar pages and conversion paths, enhancing CTAs, forms and routing to boost qualified traffic.
• Run webinars, virtual roundtables and other digital programmes from promotion through follow‑up, measuring registrations, attendance and pipeline impact.
• Build nurture programmes that segment audiences by persona, intent and lifecycle stage and hand‑off hot leads to SDRs.
• Set up clean UTMs, campaign tracking, HubSpot attribution and weekly reporting on traffic quality, CAC and pipeline.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, create lightweight assets, draft landing pages and generate campaign ideas.

Required profile

• 5+ years in performance marketing, digital demand generation or growth marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity or similar technical domains.
• Hands‑on experience with paid search, paid social, retargeting, webinars, landing pages, nurture flows and conversion optimisation.
• Strong analytical instincts – able to explain results, diagnose issues and recommend next steps.
• Comfortable collaborating with Content, Product Marketing and Sales to turn stories into high‑performing campaigns.
• AI‑native operating style, using AI daily to move faster and build better systems.
